Waterbomb Re-Design

Waterbomb Re-design :Building on its success, the Waterbomb Festival expanded internationally, with events across Southeast Asia and its highly anticipated debut in Los Angeles for Waterbomb LA 2024. However, due to safety concerns, the LA event was unfortunately canceled. Hoping for a comeback in 2025, I plan to redesign the original Waterbomb visuals for social media and create an updated trailer to build excitement for the festival’s return.

What is Waterbomb?

The Waterbomb Festival is a highly popular summer event in South Korea, blending live music performances with massive water fights. Launched in 2015 in Seoul, it has since expanded to cities like Busan and Daegu, featuring top K-pop and hip-hop acts such as Black Pink, Jay Park and CL. Sometimes they bring special guests from around the world like Ryan Renolds and Hugh Jackman who were apart of the festival recently. Attendees engage in water gun battles while being drenched by water cannons, creating a lively and refreshing party atmosphere. The festival's success has led to international events, spreading its energetic mix of music and water fun globally.

Look & Feel

Centered around the theme of Waterbomb, I sought to convey the thrilling experience of a hot summer day spent splashing in a pool with friends, complemented by the vibrant energy of summer concerts.

Color Palette

When you hear the word "summer," it evokes bright, vibrant colors that lift your spirits and create a sense of joy. I concentrated on those vivid hues that you encounter while participating in activities that bring you excitement and happiness.
